hali is the only company in the industry to be a partner in the »klimaaktiv Pakt« initiative and manufactures its furniture in an environmentally friendly manner at its facility in Eferding, Upper Austria. Thanks to solar energy from its own photovoltaic system, 100% heat from its in-house heating plant, a production facility lit exclusively with LED lighting, and continuous improvements in energy efficiency, energy consumption and CO2 emissions per piece of furniture have been more than halved since 2005.
